This inkjet-based snapshot printer, which replaces the Selphy DS700, sports a larger, colour LCD and uses Canon's ChromaLife 100 six-colour ink set. The inks are designed so that when they fade, as all inks inevitably do, each primary colour theoretically fades at the same rate, in order to preserve the hues in the photograph.
